We ship updates almost every week. Here's what landed in Allison this month — and why it matters for your cleaning business.
Service Areas: Stop Wasting Time on Out-of-Area Leads
The problem: You get a quote request, spend 10 minutes on the phone, and then find out they're 45 minutes outside your service area. Wasted time, wasted energy.
The fix: Allison now lets you define exactly where you work by zip code.
Go to Settings → Company → Service Areas and add your zip codes. As many as you need.
Here's what happens:
When someone fills out your quote request form, we automatically check if they're in your area
In-range? Qualified lead.
Out of range? Flagged immediately.
If you have a VA or assistant handling intake, this is huge. They'll see the out-of-area warning before wasting time on a call that was never going to close.
Bottom line: Fewer wasted calls. Better close rates. Cleaner pipeline.

Zapier Integration (Beta)
You can now connect Allison to 5,000+ apps through Zapier.
When something happens in Allison — new customer, job booked, invoice paid — you can trigger actions in other tools automatically:
Add new customers to your email list
Get Slack notifications when jobs complete
Log bookings to a Google Sheet
Create follow-up tasks in Notion or Asana

24-Hour Cleaner Availability
Your cleaners can now set availability across a full 24-hour window.
Early morning move-out cleans? Late evening office jobs? Overnight commercial work? Allison handles it now.
This was a frequent request from cleaning businesses that serve commercial clients or offer flexible residential scheduling. Done.
More Appointment Reminder Options
We added a 72-hour reminder option. You now have four to choose from:
2 hours before
24 hours before
48 hours before
72 hours before (new)
Mix and match any combination for SMS, email, or both. Set it up under Notification Settings.
The 72-hour option is great for recurring customers who need a heads-up earlier in the week to prepare their home.
Improvements to Card on File
Some customer credit cards need extra verification before they can be stored (especially certain banks and card types).
Allison now handles this automatically through Stripe's secure verification flow. When a card needs verification, the customer gets a quick prompt to confirm — then the card is stored and ready for future charges.
Translation: You can collect payment info from more customers without the back-and-forth of "your card didn't work, can you try again?"
