Two homes can have the same square footage, the same number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and require the same cleaning service, but take very different amounts of time to clean.

The difference is often simple: one home is well maintained, while the other needs significantly more attention.

Until now, that difference could be difficult to account for consistently when quoting a job in Allison. A business might manually increase the price, add extra time to the schedule, or simply hope the original estimate was enough.

Dirt Code gives cleaning businesses a more consistent way to account for the actual condition of a property.

Your scale. Your pricing. Your judgment.

With Dirt Code, you can create your own five-level property-condition scale.

For each level, you decide:

  • How much should be added to the price

  • How much additional time should be added to the job

You can configure pricing as either a percentage or a flat dollar amount. Time can also be configured as either a percentage or a specific amount of additional time.

When creating a job, simply select the Dirt Code that best represents the condition of the property. Allison automatically updates the price and estimated duration based on the rules you configured.

Your team makes the judgment. Allison handles the math.

Built for the way you already price jobs

Dirt Code works with Allison’s existing pricing methods.

For square-footage and flat-rate services, Dirt Code adjusts both the price and the estimated duration.

For hourly services, it adjusts the estimated duration only. Because additional time already results in additional billed hours, Allison does not add a separate Dirt Code charge on top of the hourly price.

The result is a cleaner calculation that reflects how the business actually charges.

Designed for the first clean

Dirt Code applies to the first cleaning by default.

That is often where the largest condition difference exists. A property may need additional work during the initial cleaning, but once it is maintained on a recurring schedule, the normal recurring price and duration can take over.

If the same condition adjustment needs to continue, Dirt Code can also be applied to future recurring cleanings.

Easy to adjust when the estimate changes

Sometimes the condition described over the phone does not match what the cleaners find when they arrive.

Dirt Code can be changed on a scheduled job to reflect the property’s actual condition. Before confirming the update, Allison shows how the change affects the job’s price, duration, and Dirt Code level.

That gives the office and cleaning team a shared, consistent way to respond when a job requires more work than expected.

Clear internally, simple for the customer

Inside Allison, Dirt Code appears as its own line item so your team can see exactly how it affected the price.

Customers do not see Dirt Code itemized on their Quote or Confirmation emails. They simply see the complete Job Price.

This keeps the internal calculation transparent without adding unnecessary complexity to the customer experience.

Another step toward more accurate quoting

Dirt Code is not a reinvention of cleaning-business quoting. It is one more practical input that helps Allison produce a better result.

Accurate quoting is rarely about one breakthrough feature. It comes from accounting for all the variables that influence the work: the property, the service, the frequency, the add-ons, the team, and now, the condition of the home.

The more accurately a quote reflects the work, the easier it becomes to protect margins, schedule the right amount of time, and give the cleaning team a day they can realistically complete.

Dirt Code is available now in Allison. You can turn it on and configure your levels under Services → For All Services → Dirt Code.
